How much do you know about the precision requirements of hardware stamping processing?
Hardware stamping processing is a key technology in the modern manufacturing industry, which obtains parts of the required shape and size by plastic deformation of metal materials under the action of molds. This processing method has the advantages of high productivity, high material utilization rate, and the ability to manufacture complex shaped parts. However, the precision requirement of hardware stamping processing is also very strict, which is directly related to the quality and performance of the final product.
In metal stamping processing, precision requirements mainly include three aspects: dimensional accuracy, shape accuracy and surface accuracy. Dimensional accuracy refers to the deviation between the actual size and the designed size of the stamped parts, usually expressed in millimeters or microns. Shape accuracy refers to the deviation between the actual shape of the processed part and the designed shape, including straightness, flatness, roundness, etc. Surface accuracy refers to the surface roughness of the machined parts.
There are many factors affecting the precision of hardware stamping processing, including the precision of the mold, the precision of the press, the uniformity of the material, the lubrication conditions, and the technical level of the operator. Among them, the precision of the mold is the most important factor. The precision of the mold not only affects the dimensional accuracy and shape accuracy of the part, but also affects the surface accuracy. Therefore, the design and manufacture of molds need to be very fine and precise, usually requiring the use of high-precision CNC machine tools and special testing equipment.
The precision of the press is also an important factor affecting the precision of hardware stamping processing. The precision of the press mainly includes the movement precision of the slide and the stability of the pressure. The movement accuracy of the slider directly affects the size accuracy and shape accuracy of the parts, while the stability of the pressure affects the surface accuracy of the parts. Therefore, the maintenance and adjustment of the press is also very important.
The uniformity of the material also affects the precision of hardware stamping processing. If the thickness of the material is not uniform or the hardness is not consistent, then the deviation of size and shape will occur during the stamping process. Therefore, material selection and pretreatment are also very critical.
Lubrication conditions also have a great influence on the precision of hardware stamping processing. Good lubrication can reduce the friction between the mold and the material, thus reducing wear and deformation and improving the machining accuracy. Therefore, the selection and use of lubricant is also very important.
The skill level of the operator is also an important factor affecting the precision of hardware stamping processing. A skillful operator can adjust the appropriate stamping parameters according to the nature of the material and the performance of the press, so as to ensure the processing accuracy. Therefore, the training and management of operators are also very important.
