Stamping parts processing of the refurbishment process
The refurbishment process of stamping parts processing is mainly aimed at repairing surface or internal defects such as burrs, cracks, deformations and other defects of stamping parts to ensure the dimensional accuracy and shape integrity of stamping parts. This process usually includes a series of operations such as cleaning, grinding, welding and calibration.
Cleaning is the first step of the refurbishment process. As a large amount of burrs and debris will be generated during the processing of stamped parts, these impurities, if left on the stamped parts, will not only affect the surface quality of the product, but may also have an adverse effect on the subsequent processes. Therefore, we need to use professional cleaning tools and methods, such as sandblasting, acid washing, etc., to remove the impurities on the surface of the stamped parts completely.
Next, sanding is an important step to refurbish the stamped parts. Through grinding, we can eliminate the unevenness on the surface of the stamped parts, improve its surface finish and make it more in line with the design requirements. In addition, grinding can also effectively remove the cracks and looseness inside the stamped parts, so as to improve their mechanical properties.
In the process of stamping parts processing, some defects of stamping parts can not be repaired by cleaning and grinding, then we need to use welding and correction methods. Welding can reconnect the broken stamped parts and restore their original shape and size. Calibration, on the other hand, can bring the shape and size of the stamping to the design requirements by applying pressure or tension.
It is worth noting that the reconditioning process does not simply repair the stamped part, but retains its original performance and service life as much as possible under the premise of guaranteeing the quality of the product. Therefore, the refurbishment process needs to be carried out by experienced technicians, who need to choose the appropriate refurbishment method according to the specific defects of the stamped parts and control the parameters in the refurbishment process.
