The deformation characteristics of stamping processing bending parts
Bent parts are an important product in stamping processing, and their shapes and sizes often need to be precisely controlled. However, in the bending process, due to the elastic deformation and plastic deformation of the material, the bent parts often produce certain deformation. In this paper, we will analyse the deformation characteristics of the stamping process bending parts in detail.
First, the deformation characteristics of the bending parts and the mechanical properties of the material are closely related. Different materials have different modulus of elasticity, yield strength and other mechanical property parameters, so the deformation produced in the bending process is also different. Generally speaking, the modulus of elasticity of the material is smaller in the bending process is prone to greater deformation.
Second, the thickness of the bending part is also an important factor affecting the deformation characteristics. Under the same conditions, the thickness of the larger bending parts in the bending process to produce less deformation. This is because the thickness of the material has a better resistance to deformation.
In actual production, in order to reduce the deformation of bending parts, the following measures can be taken:
1. Select the appropriate bending radius. The choice of bending radius has a great influence on the deformation of bent parts. Generally speaking, the larger the bending radius, the smaller the deformation produced in the bending process. 2.
2. The use of pre-pressure method. As mentioned earlier, the pre-compression method can effectively reduce the deformation in the bending process. By applying a certain amount of pressure on the bent part before bending, so that it produces a certain amount of plastic deformation, thereby reducing the deformation in the bending process.
3. Optimise the bending process. The bending process also has a great influence on the deformation of the bending parts. By optimising the bending process, such as the use of multiple bending, step-by-step bending and other methods, you can effectively reduce the deformation in the bending process.
4. Select the appropriate mould. The shape and size of the mould also has a great influence on the deformation of the bent parts. By choosing the right shape and size of the mould, the deformation in the bending process can be effectively reduced.
The deformation characteristics of stamping bending parts are closely related to the material properties, thickness, bending radius and other factors. In actual production, the deformation in the bending process can be reduced and the product quality can be improved by choosing suitable materials, optimising process parameters and adopting the pre-pressure method. At the same time, it is also necessary to continuously research and explore new process methods and technologies to meet the evolving market demand.
