Section classification of stamping processed products
During the stamping process, material is cut or separated into desired shapes and sizes. This process produces a wide variety of sections, the shape and characteristics of which have a significant impact on the quality, performance and service life of the product. Therefore, it is very important to understand the classification of sections of stamping processed products.
The sections of stamping processed products can be mainly classified into the following categories:
1. Flat section: this is the most common type of section, the edge of the section is smooth, without obvious burrs or cracks. The product quality of this kind of section is better and the performance is stable.
2. Burr section: During the stamping process, due to the friction between the material and the mold, some burrs will be produced at the edge of the section. The product quality of this kind of section is poor, and it needs subsequent treatment, such as grinding or deburring.
3. Cracked section: If the pressure during the stamping process is too high, or the design of the mold is not reasonable, cracks may be produced on the section. The quality of products with this kind of section is seriously degraded and cannot be used to make high quality products.
4. Torn section: In the stamping process, if the edge of the material is too fragile, it may produce tearing phenomenon. The product quality of this section is also poor and needs to be repaired or replaced.
5. corrugated section: in the stamping process, if the surface of the material is not flat, it may produce corrugation. The product quality of this type of section is poor and needs to be repaired or replaced.
In actual production, we need to choose the appropriate punching processing technology and mold design according to the specific needs of the product in order to avoid producing bad sections. At the same time, we also need to regularly maintain and inspect the punching equipment to ensure its normal operation and avoid quality problems caused by equipment failure.
