The distortion of stamping materials and its prevention measures
Generally speaking, the distortion of stamping processed materials is mainly related to the following factors:
1. the plastic deformation capacity of the material itself;
2. the structural design of the mold;
3. the selection of stamping process parameters.
For the plastic deformation ability of the stamping process material itself, we should choose a material with good plasticity and high ductility for stamping process. This can reduce the stress concentration of the material during stamping processing, thus reducing the possibility of distortion. At the same time, we can also improve the plastic deformation capacity of the material by adjusting its composition and heat treatment process.
For the structural design of the mold, we should try to avoid the use of complex structures to reduce the stress concentration of the mold in the stamping process. At the same time, we should also optimize the cooling system of the die to ensure that the temperature of the die is stable during the stamping process, so as to reduce the possibility of distortion.
For the selection of stamping process parameters, we should select appropriate process parameters such as stamping speed, stamping depth and stamping angle according to the characteristics of the material and the structure of the mold. This can ensure the stability of the stamping process and avoid the distortion phenomenon caused by improper selection of process parameters.
Besides, we can also prevent the distortion of stamping processed materials through the following methods:
1. Adopting pre-pressing process: by pre-pressing the material to a certain extent, we can change its internal organization structure and improve its plastic deformation ability, thus reducing the possibility of distortion.
2. Adoption of multi-stroke stamping process: By decomposing a single stamping into several stampings, the stress during the stamping process can be dispersed and the possibility of distortion can be reduced.
3. Adoption of anti-twisting molds: such molds can automatically adjust the position of the material during the stamping process to counteract the twisting force, thus preventing the material from twisting.
