What is the need for multi-stage injection in injection molding process?
In the injection molding process, multi-stage injection is a special type of injection that is used to achieve better molding results by dividing the molten plastic into multiple stages for injection. In the multi-stage injection process, the molten plastic is divided into two or more parts, each with its own specific injection pressure and speed. This method can effectively improve the molding quality of products, increase productivity and reduce production costs.
When is it necessary to use multi-stage injection in the injection molding process?
1.Complex product structure: For products with complex structure, such as dual-color, dual-material or products with special shapes, it is necessary to use multi-stage injection to inject different raw materials or colors in stages to ensure the molding quality of the product.
2. Products with high dimensional accuracy requirements: For products with high dimensional accuracy requirements, such as precision parts, electronic components, etc., multi-stage injection is required to ensure the dimensional accuracy of the products by accurately controlling the injection pressure and speed at each stage.
3. High product surface finish requirements: For products with high surface finish requirements, such as mirror, scrub, electroplating and other products, multi-level injection is required to ensure the surface finish of the product by accurately controlling the injection pressure and speed at each stage, as well as selecting the appropriate mold temperature and cooling time.
4. Products with uniform wall thickness: For products with uniform wall thickness, such as pipe fittings and sheets, multi-stage injection is required to ensure uniform wall thickness by accurately controlling the injection pressure and speed at each stage.
